The Hidden Park
A fantastic adventure that blends geo-caching, puzzle solving and photography into an innovative outdoor gaming experience.

Start Time: Download the iPhone app at the HQ and play at your leisure anytime during the weekend.
Location: Download at Festival HQ at the The Tank (354 W 45th St. between 8th/9th Aves). Then play the game in Central Park.

A group of greedy property developers plans to bulldoze Central Park and you're the only person who can stop them! Help the Magical Wildlife Protection Agency by collecting evidence to prove the existence of local fairies, dragons and trolls that inhabit the park.

After installing The Hidden Park on your iPhone you will receive a call from the leader of the Magical Wildlife Protection Agency. Uncover the secret habitat of magical creatures by following a GPS map. Overcome riddles and challenges that lead you to various destinations around the park. Take photos of yourself with magical creatures to prove they exist. The first to complete their journey and save the park from destruction will be the first to receive the MWPA's medal of honour.

The Rules
The game begins outside the Apple Store on 5th Avenue. Players receive a "video call" from the leader of the Magical Wildlife Protection Agency.

The players must find their way to various points in the park by solving riddles and following a GPS enabled map. You can only progress to the next point when you have finished the challenges presented by the game's animated characters.

When you have solved all the riddles and found your way to the final destination, you are presented with an MWPA medal of honor.

We started as a few geeks who loved GPS gaming on our iPhones. Then we became a group of geeks, designers and illustrators who loved GPS gaming on iPhones. Now we're a studio who wants to share our love of GPS gaming with the world.

We are based in Melbourne (Australia) and New York. We can't wait to see Come Out and Play and are very interested in starting something similar down here in Oz. Looking forward to reclaiming the streets!
