Come Out & Play 2007 in Amsterdam
Location: CO&P HQ at Westergasfabriek Designed to raise awareness of artistic censorship, especially as it relates to video games, this two-day game lets players battle to have their team become the most powerful censorship review committee in Amsterdam. As members of the Replacements, Whiteouts, Eraserheads or Coverups, players must find "filthy" posters bearing headshots of iconic video game characters and clean them with their team-branded cleaning stickers. Online and real-world clues leading to the location of each new group of censorship targets will be released every three hours; the clues themselves will have been censored, for example, by having certain audio bleeped, video frames removed, or map areas distorted.
