Come Out & Play 2010 in Brooklyn

Love's Labour's Lost
Hide. Sneak. Lie. Run. Woo. Find your true love - and make sure nobody else finds theirs.

Start Time: Sunday June 6 at 1 PM
Location: Brooklyn Lyceum
# of players: 30
Duration: 1-2 hours

You've forsworn love for ever - which is unfortunate, because you've also just laid eyes on your One True Beloved. So now you have to sneak around and woo them with gifts and secret messages - after all, you can't let them get away! But your fellow lords and ladies are watching out for any sign that you're breaking your vows, so you'll need to be very careful indeed.

And as if that wasn't trouble enough, you're beginning to wonder whether some of the other lords and ladies are breaking their own vows! It's disgraceful - they're supposed to be dedicating themselves to learning and science and sobriety, not frolicking merrily. At this rate, you might just need to figure out who's courting who, and denounce them.

Love's Labour's Lost is a low-tech game of sneaking, hiding, running, peering and hypocrisy. It was first played at a Hide&Seek Sandpit at Battersea Arts Centre.
