The Tweeture
Deluded Monster Twitter Robot seeks to destroy SF

When: All Weekend
More Info: HQ Giant Robot Store (618 Shrader at Haight)
# of players: Unlimited
URL: @thetweeture

The Tweeture is a carry-around social robot-monster who tweets. Mistakenly believing he’s of Godzilla proportions Tweeture sets off on his travels again, this time looking to snack on those “puny SF0 hipsters“. Once again though he’s messed up big style. He’s still only a foot high and totally dependent on the kindness of strangers. Spend a little time with the Tweeture and if he likes the cut of your jibberish he’ll award you lots of Monster Love points.

Tweeture is both location and context aware, containing a GPS tracker and accelerometers. So take him out and about, chat to him on twitter and treat him nice to earn those points.

We are SlingShot

We make street and pervasive games, games played on city streets and country lanes, with real people, often with a dash of technology to help it go down smoothly.

We produce these games for brands, NGOs and public sector organisations, as well as for our two game events iglab and the legendary igfest, the festival of interesting games. We also offer game consultancy services and run a mean street game design workshop.
