A variation on a reaction-time game in which two sky-divers must use their auditory senses and reflexes in order to gain control of a single parachute during their minute long plummet to earth.
Listen closely for the beacon so that you can fly towards your opponent, then once the cue music starts, tug on the pull to fight or defend for the parachute. Whoever has the parachute at the end of the one minute fall is the winner! The game is inspired by the nail-biting parachute scene James Bond movie “Moonraker”, and was developed as the class final project in Kaho Abe’s custom game controllers class “Beyond the Joystick” taught at the NYU-Poly Game Innovation Lab.
